Conversations with Wisdom Keeper: Marsha Forest, Mohawk Healer and Grandmother presented by Earth Peoples United. Marsha Forrest was born and raised on the Six Nations Reservation in Ontario, Canada as a Mohawk woman. She worked as a nurse and lived in Haida Gwaii, the Queen Charlotte Islands of B.C., for thirty three years, and was adopted into the Ts'aalth Clan of the Eagle Clan of the Haida.
Leroy Little Bear (bio) is a member of the Small Robes Band of the Blood Indian Tribe, Blackfoot Confederacy, and was born and raised on the Blood Indian Reserve. He is the former director of the American Indian Program, Harvard University, and the current chair of Native Studies, University of Lethbridge.

She is joined in the response by Ilarion (Larry) Merculieff who was born and raised with a traditional upbringing on the Pribilof Islands of the Bering Sea. His traditional name, Kuuyux, was given to him when he was four and means extension of ancient knowledge into modern times.
