Youth are driving climate action, and their voices are making an impact. Join Alexandria Villaseñor and Alexander Posner as they discuss their climate advocacy, how young people can get involved, and how adults can be effective allies.

Alexander Posner, Founding President of Students for Carbon Dividends (S4CD), leads a youth movement promoting a bipartisan carbon dividends framework. Alexandria Villaseñor, a prominent climate activist and co-founder of US Youth Climate Strike and Earth Uprising, follows the Fridays for Future movement.

Sara Saucedo, a CCL Tornadoes Regional Fellow, holds a Master's in Environmental Science and founded the successful A-State Environmental Club. She was also accepted as an Environmental Fellow for Yale and the University of Michigan.

Sara Snyder Hopkins, Assistant Professor of Anthropology and Director of the Cherokee Language Program at Western Carolina University, advocates for preserving Native languages. She shares her personal journey from supporting assimilation to championing the endangered Cherokee language, highlighting reasons for saving dying languages and how non-Natives can contribute.
