Children Feeding Children: A Thousand School Gardens: Johanna and Mike Bresnan
The Costa Rican Foundation for Relief and Development (FUCAD) along with the Children's Hunger Relief Fund has initiated the Program of Children Feeding Children, a program of children learning how to feed other children with sustainable growing methods through the local schools all over the world. Johanna and Michael Bresnan of the Vista del Valle Plantation Inn in Rosario de Naranjo, Costa Rica talk about how their vision of Costa Rica becoming a sustainable country includes their program, Children Feeding Children, a cooperative effort of three local schools and recently adopted by the Minister of Education with the goal of a thousand school gardens. Visit their Website at www.childrenfeedingchildren.org to make a donation and to learn about volunteer opportunities.

A Thousand School Gardens was produced and filmed by Ruth Ann Barrett at the Vista del Valle Plantation Inn for EarthSayers.tv, the voices of sustainability located in Portland, Oregon. Special thanks to Nick Peterson for his musical contribution.
