This month, we feature Andrés Jimenez, Executive Director of Green2.0, an organization dedicated to increasing diversity in environmental justice conversations.

Jimenez brings extensive experience, having previously served as Senior Director of Government Affairs for Citizens' Climate Lobby, Associate Director of Government Relations at Ocean Conservancy, and worked on Capitol Hill for Reps. Linda Sanchez and Howard Berman.

Dr. Jomar Rabajante discussed the Black Swan and Red Queen concepts in science, emphasizing that addressing tragedies and disasters requires assessing root causes, evidence-based decision-making, scenario mapping, and investing in knowledge to mitigate their impact.

A Professor and UP Scientist at the University of the Philippines Los Baños, Dr. Rabajante co-chaired the Philippines' first PhD Applied Mathematics program. His advocacy in quantitative sciences includes developing education models and reviewing academic journals. He holds a D.Sc. from Shizuoka University, Japan.

She connected this "design of crime" to the abuse and pornography women face in warfare. Her core message emphasized that design must be founded on responsibility, ethics, and morality.
