The Nouvelle Vie Youth Corps will consist of 50 trained Haitian young adults (ages 18-30) committed to two years of service. They will implement mass-scale mental health interventions and develop community-based sustainable solutions for food, water, sanitation, and construction systems, including Permaculture.

This initiative is the International Association for Human Value's (IAHV) response to the Haitian Earthquake, evolving from its pre-earthquake programs. Since October 2007, IAHV has already empowered 350 Haitian youth through training in leadership, sustainable agriculture, and small business development.
