Jeff Corwin joins conservationists in California to protect pinnipeds, including elephant seals and sea lions. Organizations like the Marine Mammal Care Center and Defenders of Wildlife are crucial in rescuing and rehabilitating these animals, which face severe threats from climate change, overfishing, habitat loss, and plastic pollution.

Corwin assists Dr. Lauren Palmer and Andy Johnson in rehabilitating four malnourished California sea lion pups, one of whom ingested plastic. In his TEDxFargo talk, Marshall Johnson, Executive Director of Audubon Dakota and VP of the National Audubon Society, highlights how marketplace choices can help farmers and ranchers conserve grasslands through regenerative grazing. He encourages seeking foods that are better for us and the land, making every day our own Earth Day.

For a decade, Johnson's team has built successful rural and urban community-focused habitat programs. His work in the Dakotas aligns farmers, ranchers, grasslands, and birds in win-win scenarios. Audubon's market-based Conservation Ranching Program now enrolls over 2 million acres across 60 ranches, and he leads the largest urban conservation program in the Northern Great Plains.

These plans have been implemented worldwide, including New Zealand, the Netherlands, and other European Union countries. Advocate Huey Johnson has introduced them to parts of the United States, believing they are crucial for managing Climate Change.

The Netherlands' National Environmental Policy Plan (NEPP), adopted in 1989, is the longest-running example. Despite facing severe environmental problems like congestion and heavy industry, the country achieved significant recovery in under 20 years through its implementation.
