Dr. Kate Tully, Assistant Professor of Agroecology at the University of Maryland and director of the AgroEcoLab, explores how to build resilience in coastal farms amidst climate change. Her academic journey includes degrees in English, Spanish, Biology, and Ecology, followed by postdoctoral research at Columbia University's Earth Institute, where she studied the environmental impacts of the African Green Revolution.

Her research broadly examines managing farming systems for climate change adaptation and mitigation. Specifically, she investigates strategies for coastal farmlands affected by sea-level rise and saltwater intrusion, and the use of cover crops to enhance agroecosystem services.
