His overarching mission is to build an equitable food system that values equality, inclusion, and accessibility.

Through conservation practices, Seth promotes healthy, diverse landscapes, aiming to prevent future shortages of nutritious food and clean water. He contributes to this mission by serving on the boards of several nonprofit conservation organizations, including the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation and Iowa Learning Farms.
