Update from Mumbai 🇮🇳 Interceptors 026 and 027 are deployed and operational in Malad and Trombay waterways. But we didn't do this alone. Together with Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board, and our local implementation partner, Plastic Fischer, we installed Interceptors 026 and 027 just ahead of the monsoon season. Now, with monsoon rains in full swing, we are fine-tuning our processes, working with our partners to optimize waste interception in both creeks, and engaging with local communities with the help of United Way Mumbai. Also, a shoutout to AT Capital Pte Ltd / Experion Developers Pte Ltd and Optiver Global, who made these deployments possible. Mumbai is part of our 30 Cities Program, which aims to reduce 1/3 of all plastic emissions from rivers into the ocean by the end of the decade. Stay tuned for updates!
