Nearing the end of its Sixth Assessment Cycle, it's an important moment to reflect on past communication successes, challenges, and lessons learned for future reports.

International media and science communities are invited to mark the launch of a new Topical Collection (TC) in the journal *Climatic Change*. This TC focuses on Climate Change Communication and the IPCC, showcasing expert research and policy insights relevant to the IPCC's work.

A diverse panel of authors will present key findings from three TC papers on public understanding, engaging young people, and democratizing knowledge. IPCC Vice Chair Thelma Krug will offer critical reflections, followed by a Q&A session and a 'pitch contest' to conclude the event.

His overarching mission is to build an equitable food system that values equality, inclusion, and accessibility.

Chloe Maxmin co-founded "Divest Harvard" in September 2012, aiming to move Harvard University's funds out of fossil fuel corporations. Her initiative built on research into Harvard's past divestment campaigns against apartheid and Big Tobacco, galvanizing a broad student and community movement.

The campaign gained significant traction, highlighted by a campus-wide referendum where 72% of undergraduates supported fossil fuel divestment. This, combined with outreach to alumni and faculty, led to meetings with trustees and initiated a crucial dialogue about fossil fuels at the university. Maxmin's activism began at age 12, and in 2007, she founded "First Here, Then Everywhere," an online network connecting youth activists globally.

While volunteering at a Warrenville, Illinois juvenile detention center, Isabella Wallmow, 20, realized incarcerated youth needed healing, not just punishment. Inspired by permaculture agriculture, she conceived a gardening program. With support from the Resiliency Institute and detention staff, she launched the Seeds for Change Garden Program in 2019.

Seeds for Change creates a safe, healing space, equipping youth with marketable skills. The program empowers them to lead all aspects of gardening, from planting to harvesting, addressing food insecurity and providing valuable health education.

Sadie-Phoenix Lavoie, a 22-year-old Anishnabe woman from Sagkeeng First Nation, co-chairs the Onjisay Aki Youth Climate Summit. She is pursuing a BA in Indigenous Studies at the University of Winnipeg, serves as VP External for the UW Students' Association, and co-founded Red Rising Magazine.

The First Peoples-led Onjisay Aki Youth Climate Summit was held at Turtle Lodge from September 16-19, 2016. On International Peace Day eve (September 21, 2016), participating youth released a spiritually-informed statement for international peace and healing.
