Shneel Malik, a licensed Architect and interdisciplinary Biodesign researcher, addresses the increasing divide between natural and urban environments. She combines bio-research and architecture to design 'living spaces' that blur the lines between green and concrete areas. Her vision also empowers small-scale artisan communities to adopt sustainable, futuristic solutions using accessible cultural techniques, fostering future cities.

Currently pursuing her PhD at the Bio-Integrated Design Lab, Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, Shneel investigates the design and fabrication of large-scale photosynthetic membranes for architectural applications.
