The UK Business Group Alliance for Net Zero (BGA) hosted a session at COP26 in Glasgow on November 2, 2021. Coordinated by CLG UK, the BGA is a network of leading business groups dedicated to increasing political and business ambition for the UK's 2050 net zero emissions target.

This session explored the challenges and opportunities of a whole-economy shift to net zero. It featured high-level input from BEIS and leaders of the UK's five largest business groups: the Confederation of British Industries, Make UK, British Chambers of Commerce, Federation of Small Businesses, and Institute of Directors, discussing actions to meet the target.
