In this talk, Jane Turville shares insights gained from Rosemary Anderson High School students who examined climate change through local public opinion, pollution, health, economy, community impact, and homelessness.

An award-winning filmmaker, Jane began making films in 2005. She co-produced "A PASSION FOR SUSTAINABILITY" and wrote, directed, and produced "THE GREENEST BUILDING," which aired on over 250 PBS stations. Her film "OUR VOICE, OUR WORLD, OUR FUTURE" won the Best of the Northwest Community Empowerment Award. She has also directed five short narrative films and received screenwriting awards.

Keri Norris, PhD, JM, MPH, MCHES, will discuss "Addressing Health Equity using the MISTAH model." She serves as Chief of Health Policy and Administration at The Fulton DeKalb Hospital Authority, where she leads the Community Health Awareness and Prevention Office and other key programs.

Dr. Norris previously worked at the CDC as a health scientist, evaluator, and epidemiologist. She possesses extensive experience in eliminating health disparities for vulnerable populations in the United States and has served as adjunct faculty at several universities. She is also the author of two books, including #KeriOn.

Young, conservative, and Catholic individuals are increasingly advocating for climate action, driven by their faith and stewardship of the earth. Topher Anderson, a Citizens' Climate Lobby (CCL) volunteer, exemplifies this, citing his Catholic faith and Pope Francis's teachings as his motivation.

In March 2021, Topher met with Republican members of Congress, urging them to adopt climate solutions consistent with conservative values like small government and American ingenuity. He believes these principles are key to effective, nationwide solutions.
