The discussion underscored the critical importance of human connection. Our minds naturally foster honor, respect, and good treatment towards those we feel connected with, a principle evident in our daily group interactions.

However, we have allowed divisiveness and fear to turn us against each other. The imperative now is to expand this sense of connection beyond our immediate circles, embracing a larger group: one humanity.

Nobel laureate Richard Thaler and Cass R. Sunstein's "Nudge: The Final Edition" explores how to guide people toward better decisions without restricting their freedom of choice. The book highlights that individuals often make unwise choices due to inherent biases, and that choices are never presented neutrally. It advocates for helping people make optimal decisions for themselves, their families, and society.

Thaler, awarded the 2017 Nobel Memorial Prize for his contributions to behavioral economics, co-authored this work. Get the book here.

Manari is a Sapara ceremonial leader and healing man, specializing in medicinal plants like natural tobacco. Through dream interpretation and spiritual connections, he offers natural, non-invasive cures for modern ailments, encouraging a rediscovery of our bond with nature.

As an indigenous rights advocate, Manari has successfully halted drilling efforts in his native territory and defended the Sapara community's rights at international human rights courts and the United Nations. Stand Down events are crucial initiatives designed to help traumatized Veterans overcome homelessness and reintegrate into society. These three-day gatherings provide essential medical, dental, and legal services, but their primary impact lies in restoring a vital sense of community. Founder Dr. John Natchison aptly describes them as a "drug-free Woodstock combined with Maslow's hierarchy of needs and a family picnic."

With over 300 events across the U.S., Stand Down mobilizes 2,000 volunteers to welcome 1,000 Veterans at each session. Recognizing that Veterans disproportionately experience trauma, PTSD, substance abuse, and homelessness, these events foster the community and connection necessary for them to recover their purpose and passion.

“MRS ROBINSON” chronicles Mary Robinson's half-century fight for justice and equality, told in her own words. It illuminates her battles on the streets, in courts, at the ballot box, and in corridors of power.

A reforming constitutional lawyer and senator, Mary made history as Ireland's President in 1990. She then served as UN High Commissioner, fearlessly challenging human rights abuses worldwide. Today, she chairs The Elders, an independent group founded by Nelson Mandela, dedicated to peace and human rights.

Directed by Aoife Kelleher and produced by Loosehorse, “MRS ROBINSON” was funded by Fís Éireann /Screen Ireland and the Utah Film Center. Pat Mitchell is among the executive producers.
