When composted, these enzymes quickly break down plastics from the inside out into simpler, biodegradable molecules within hours or days. This eliminates slow microbial breakdown and harmful microplastics, promoting a circular economy or natural degradation in soil and water.

Transforming fashion requires a circular approach, beginning with initiatives like the Jeans Redesign. Over 80 denim experts developed guidelines ensuring jeans are used longer, easily recycled, and produced sustainably, benefiting both the environment and garment workers.
