Jeff Corwin joined Defenders of Wildlife in Boston to aid peregrine falcon recovery. At Deer Island's wastewater treatment plant, falcons nest on a 130-foot filtration tank. This initiative, a collaboration with the Massachusetts Department of Fisheries and Wildlife and the Massachusetts Water Resource Authority, provides crucial urban nesting sites.

Once near extinction, peregrine falcons have made a remarkable comeback, with 50 known pairs now thriving in Massachusetts. Corwin and Jacob Malcolm assisted biologists in banding chicks, a vital step in tracking their recovery. In honor of National Indigenous Peoples Day, Anishinaabe Elder Dr. David Courchene, Métis Cree knowledge keeper Maria Campbell, and Inuk professor Dr. Karla J. Williamson participated. They were joined by Canadian Ministers Carolyn Bennett, Marc Miller, and Dan Vandal.

This film delves into themes of inclusion, identity, and hand-drawn heroes, centered on mountain biker, skier, and artist Brooklyn Bell. Unable to find a hero, Bell created Ruby J, a comic character who became her powerful role model.

Inspired by Ruby, Bell embraced the mantra to "live like her, breathe like her, be unapologetically black like her," ultimately forging her own identity through a blend of dirt, snow, art, and inclusion.
