These women mobilized to safeguard Amazonian forests, water, and communities. Speakers, including Célia Xakriabá and Fany Kuiru Castro, delivered powerful calls for advocacy and immediate protective measures.

Sadie-Phoenix Lavoie, a 22-year-old Anishnabe woman from Sagkeeng First Nation, co-chairs the Onjisay Aki Youth Climate Summit. She is pursuing a BA in Indigenous Studies at the University of Winnipeg, serves as VP External for the UW Students' Association, and co-founded Red Rising Magazine.

The First Peoples-led Onjisay Aki Youth Climate Summit was held at Turtle Lodge from September 16-19, 2016. On International Peace Day eve (September 21, 2016), participating youth released a spiritually-informed statement for international peace and healing.

On July 7, 2017, 122 countries voted for the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW), a historic ban that proceeded despite nuclear powers abstaining. This marked a significant shift, driven by non-nuclear states living under the threat of these weapons.

This 56-minute documentary explores the journey to establish the TPNW, highlighting the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) and the humanitarian initiative.
