Half-Earth describes the required lands we, collectively, most conserve in biodiversity rich areas and connecting corridors to stabilize life and climate health on the planet, and emphasizes 50% of terrestrial and ocean conservation by 2050. Half-Earth is one necessary component of planetary health, but not singularly sufficient.
