Led by ITU, ISO, and IEC, the International AI Standards Summit convenes global experts and standards bodies to develop responsible, safe, and inclusive AI standards. This annual event responds to calls from the global community, G20, and UN for comprehensive AI standards.

The inaugural summit takes place from 14-18 October in New Delhi, coinciding with the World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA-24). The five-day event includes sessions at GSS-24, the Digital Wave Stage, Network of Women, and concludes at AI for Good Impact India on October 18.

Cohen, 21, later co-founded Fossil Free Research, an international grassroots campaign. The campaign has published an open letter signed by over 740 academics, staged international actions, and formed campus coalitions.
