Join us Monday, October 11, 2021, for National Coming Out Day. We will screen the Pixar short film *Out* and host a fascinating conversation with its director, Steven Clay Hunter, and producer, Max Sachar.

Steven Clay Hunter, a veteran Pixar animator, made his directorial debut with *Out*, which was Oscar-shortlisted and GLADD-nominated. Max Sachar, a San Francisco-based filmmaker and Pixar producer for 15 years, produced the acclaimed short, contributing creatively to its development.

While GDP is often seen as the universal yardstick of progress, economic historian Dirk Philipsen argues that a finite planet cannot sustain its indefinite expansion. He proposes replacing the GDP regime with smarter goals that prioritize quality of life and ethical considerations for future generations.

Holding a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Exeter and a master’s from the London School of Economics, Anežka brings diverse experience. She has led environmental projects like Biosmart, developed the Out of Doors Society, and worked with non-profit organizations such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award and Forum 2000. She currently serves as Growth Manager at SENS Foods.

He has received numerous accolades, including the BIRAC SoCH Innovation award. Additionally, he founded Gramiksha, a non-profit focused on youth mobilization in education, at age 19.
