Conflict-free Minerals

About This Collection

This is a movement to engage consumers in demanding that the goods they buy be “conflict-free" of minerals -tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold. This is an issue that calls to the consumer to buy conflict-fee, the manufacturers, particularly electronics companies, to source conflict-free, and our governments to help create a reputable and conflict-free supply chain from the Democratic Republic of Congo to the store shelf.

A related special collection is Supply Chain Sustainability Challenge here on EarthSayers.tv, voices of sustainability.
