This program helps federally-assisted schools meet Constitution Day requirements, which mandate annual educational programs around the Constitution's signing anniversary.

The lecture, "Founders, Framers and The Future: Applying the Constitution in the 21st Century," features a conversation with Professor Mary Sarah Bilder (Boston College Law School, author of *Madison's Hand*) and Professor Akhil Reed Amar (Yale Law School, author of *The Constitution Today*).

This significant presentation, led by Anishinabe, Nehetho (Cree), and Dakota representatives, responded to the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs' request for guidance on the National Energy Board's pipeline proposals.

The Elders, including Oshoshko Bineshiikwe (Blue Thunderbird Woman) and Nii Gaani Aki Inini (Dave Courchene), shared their wisdom. A video of part of their presentation is available, though sacred ceremonies were not recorded. Symon Ptashnick filmed the event.
