She explores diverse creatures—from lions to tarantulas—covering their anatomy, behaviors, diets, and the challenges they face, emphasizing human-animal relationships and shared habitats.

A renowned wildlife veterinarian, Dr. Wild is also known from Animal Jam Classic. Her collaborations include the World Wildlife Fund, National Geographic, and Jane Goodall Institute. When not traveling, she works as an emergency vet surgeon. Dr. Wild holds a DVM from Cornell, an MPH from Minnesota, and is a published genetics researcher.

Decades of warnings about climate change, fueled by CO2 emissions, highlight a warming atmosphere, melting ice, and collapsing ecosystems. Despite warnings, society's slow response has brought us to a critical juncture. Now, contemporary climate activism, especially by young people, offers hope for the radical systemic changes needed to save humankind.

Jakub Hrbáň, a Slovak coordinator for "Fridays For Future," embodies this hope. After high school, he joined the March 2019 climate strike and completed Sweden's Youth Initiative Program. He now leads "Miznúca Domovina" (Disappearing Homeland), a project merging ecology, education, and passion to spread climate awareness. This talk was given at a TEDx event. Maanit Goel, 17, from Washington State, learned about the critically endangered Southern Resident orcas. Only 75 remain in the Salish Sea, threatened by declining Chinook salmon, their primary food source, in the Snake River-Columbia River system.

In 2021, Goel founded the Washington Youth Ocean & River Conservation Alliance (WYORCA) to mobilize youth. WYORCA advocates removing four lower Snake River dams, impeding salmon migration and harming orcas. Goel argues renewable energy shouldn't sacrifice a keystone species. With 30 volunteers, WYORCA educated over 6,000 students, held 20+ congressional meetings, and coordinated events. The group earned Congressional recognition and an EPA award; Goel also spoke at the UN Biodiversity Conference (COP15).
