"Aprender para proteger": Guía de apoyo en educación ambiental marino costera para colegios de Chi

In Caleta Los Hornos, Chile, authorities and educators launched "Aprender para proteger," a pedagogical resource. This material strengthens the National Environmental Certification System (SNCAE) by transforming educational gaps into concrete actions for marine conservation.

Over 150 students, 12 schools, and regional authorities participated. The marine-coastal environmental education guide resulted from interinstitutional coordination and collaboration with the GEF Marine Coastal Governance project, implemented by FAO and executed by Chile's Ministry of Environment, Subsecretariat of Fisheries and Aquaculture, and National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service.
