February 04, 2026

On January 26, 2026, the Global Agenda for Sustainable Livestock (GASL) hosts Webinar 3, supporting the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists (IYRP) and the International Year of the Woman Farmer (IYWF). These 2026 observances recognize vital contributions of pastoralists, rangeland communities, and women farmers to sustainable food systems and rural development.

The webinar explores understanding, valuing, and promoting rangeland products. It highlights grassland systems, women's role in ruminant farming, and ecosystem services from grazing livestock. Subscribe to FAO on YouTube and visit FAO.org for more details.
