Many, but not all, of these products are around renewable energy, another EarthSayers.tv Special Collection, so this collection addresses other emerging markets as well in diverse industries ranging from agriculture to information technology to biotechnology as well as beauty and wellness. Sustainability, however, calls on us to consider innovation more broadly to include not just the technical, but the social and environmental as well. Innovation may be found in conversations around ethical sourcing, social innovation conferences, and in the role of social entrepreneur.

| Most people think "green businesses" provide or support the use of
alternative energy or energy efficient products. Yvon Chouinard
recounts how Patagonia grew from a retail climbing equipment business
operating out of the back of his van to a successful global business
